A UT5 Scientific Event on Real World Optimization Projects

Several applications in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace and Chemical Engineering, and Finance, to name only a few, can be modeled as optimization problems. The purpose of this Half-day event is to discuss numbers of real-world optimization projects and the state of the art of solution methods and algorithms for tackling various large-scale problems.
